And a monkey says......

My sweet baby.....ok not baby, girl is over 18 months! Wow! It is so hard to believe that she is now closer to 2 then 1! Where has time gone? She has tought us so much in the past year and a half! I fall deeper and deeper in love with her every day! We gave her a cupcake to celebrate her half birthday! I believe she enjoyed it!

She is so smart! She is learning new things every single day! Anything from pushing a chair around the house bc she knows she can climb on it to reach a whole new world of things, or talking (up a storm! ....so adorible!), to pointing out animals telling me their names and what they say. I got a video of her saying some but there are many more she knows as well! The attention span of a 1 year old is very slim! I have to say my favorite it a monkey! Also You'll get to check out her new squeaky shoes! Love them!

She loves to color so much, so I decided to be brave and let her have a try at painting! It was a hit!

Clean up is always fun to!

I hope everyone is enjoying this cooler weather and the little rain we've got!

Living, Loving, and Learning!

We have been so busy lately from enjoying the heat (most of the time), celebrating our independence, working, parenting, relationships, and just being a family!

We had so much fun celebrating the independence of our country! We all got 3 day weekends! Friday we went to Rogersville's town fireworks! They always have a great show, and we get excited to go each year! Especially, now that we have Londyn, because she LOVES the fireworks! She say 'Ohh pretty!!! Pretty!!! Light! Look!' Meanwhile she points with both of her pointer fingers and claps all the same time! She is so sweet! She kept asking for more when they were finished! There is nothing more enjoyable as a parent then to see you child having fun!

Saturday we went to this great spot at the river. We were so excited to meet up with family out there have a campfire, visit, and set off fireworks. The weather had a much better plan! It poured! It was rainning in the tent. We had to take everything down and leave! That is easier said then down when it is rainning so hard you can't see anything! We already had planned to go back on Sunday, so we just put everything off another day. Which was great because then more of the family were able to join in! Of course Londyn had a blast and so did we! We had an added bonus Sunday as well...We seen the teenyist little baby snapping turtle! I normally have snapping turtle but he was so little that he couln't hurt us!

Londyn and I went to Branson for the weekend last weekend! We had so much fun! We were so sad that Dave wasn't there (we sent him lots of pictures and videos the entire time of our stay to make him feel better!) but we really enjoyed our girl time with Mammy, Aunt Shonda, Shayla, and Paige! We had so much fun! We went swimming, shopping, took Londyn to Splash Country indoors (I think that was her favorite! She is still talking about the 'Wawer! Spash! Slide!' While she moves her arms all over the place like she is splashing! She LOVES to slide down the slides!) The place we stayed at there was a large deck overlooking lots of people bungee jumping like superman and a huge sling shot. I tried the whole weekend to get someone to do it with me, finally Aunt Shonda agreed to! Let me tell you that was so much fun! (other then the fact they didnt have me harnessed in correctly and realized it just before we were going up) I think everyone needs to try it at least once! I of course have to share pictures of our weekend!

Everytime we drove by this place Londyn would say 'chichen! chichen!' so we decided to take her there.

This is take right out front. I think she is so beautiful! It is amazing how much I love her! So much it hurts!

These next ones are at Splash Country Indoors. I don't have pictures of her going down the slides but I have tons of videos!

Of course I have to show you the ones of us bungee jumping! This first one is what it all looked like from the deck during the day.
Believe it or not we went to the top of that! It looks so much bigger when you're standing under it then what the picture shows! We thought we were close to the top and the guy said that we were almost half way up!
 Getting ready to go up!

She loved to watch us until we started to go up then she screamed! Mommy's girl for sure! I think it scared her when I screamed! :(

Coming to an end... They couldnt get photos of it while we were up high because it was to dark. At least we have video to.

Here is the link to the video of it on youtube:

Loving every minute of our lives!

If there is one thing being a parent has tought us it's that you really truly have to enjoy every second! Time flies by so quickly that you can shut your eyes! She talks so much and amazes me every single day! There isn't a word out that that she wont say! The other day she got a hold of a brand new tissue box and pulled them out everywhere! She was a good girl though and helped me pick them all back up.

The very next day she got a hold of them again and ripped them up in teeny-tiny little peices and when I walked in and cought her said 'Uh-oh mommy! Nasty!' I died laughing! Nasty! To funny! I guess she got it from me telling her that her runny nose is nasty...not sure! I do know that it was hilarous! I didn't get a picture, but wish I would have now! That actually reminds me she has had a 'nasty' runny nose and wet cough for a few weeks. Which I figured she was ok but we all know how kiddo is. She'll be fine with a runny nose one night and wake up in the middle of the night with a fever of 103 or more and pneumonia. So, I decided to call her dr just to notify them so they would know, being that it had been going on at that point for 2 weeks. They told me that she needed to be seen. I explained to them that I thought she was ok but just wanted it noted on her charts. They were very adamant that she be seen so I offered to take her in in the morning and she said that I needed to take her to urgant care that night. Confused, but I did. I think they most just wanted to make completely sure that she wasn't catching it again. The dr was in our room and the alarms started sounding very loudly and said that there was an emergency reported in the building, and it had to be evacuated! Just my luck. So a lady ran in and made us leave to go outside. The dr grabbed everything that he needed he did her exam outside at a picnic table! We were laughing! A first for all of us! Not to sure what ever happened when we left there was firemen there. Trouble follows me everywhere I go. Sheesh! Come to find out she has bad allergies (Which I said all year last year and this far this year). Her body is covered in a rash because of it. Great news....I suppose compaired to the starts of pneumonia again.

We had a wonderful Father's Day...I'd like to think, anyways! I am so, soo thankful that my daughter has such an amazing daddy like I did growing up! I know that no matter what my baby girl is going to be taken care of! I am so very appreciative of it to! He is always so helpful and willing to do anything he can to help out in anyway! She is so blessed...and so am I! I love this man more then anyone knows! He is our rock and is always there with his cape on! How did we get so lucky! I love my family so much that it makes my heart hurt in such a great way! Not only does Londyn have an amazing daddy but she has amazing papa's to! Dave and I both have the greatest role models to! Most of all though we are all God's children! He is the greatest of all! I know how much I love my child and to know that he loves all of us so much more, that is truly amazing! He always is there for us and gives us what we need. Never leaves us alone! I love him so much! With God behind us and his arms beneath us, we can live the life before us!

I hope everyone had an amazing fathers day remembering to honor the greast father of all! And, I hope you are having a wonderful summer to!

Before I go I have to show a few pictures of Londyn!
She just loves to climb in this cooler! Daddy was wheeling her around in it and of course she loved it!
Her lunch the other day consisted of mustard! She refused to eat anything else! I think she would have just sucked it out of the bottle if we let her! Now if she sees the bottle in the fridge she will freak out and say 'want some! mmmm! want some!'

The next few are from today! She loves ice cream to...what 1 year old doesn't but she cracks me up she'll randomly say 'i cream! i cream! I eat...i cream!' So we eat orange leaf once every couple weeks as a treat but since they just opened up CherryBerry we decided to get some and come back home and eat it out in the sunroom. I do believe she approved!

This next one she is so sad because it is all gone! She kept saying 'pease! pease!...uh-hut uh-hut! pease!' .....'mommy! eat bite!' Her face says it all! So cute! I love her so, so much!

life with a 1 year old!! Sickness and summertime!

So much has been going on and I haven't updated in so long! Life is crazy chasing a 1 year old! Let me tell you!! She is talking so sooo much! Saying word after word and putting them all together now! Hard to believe that she says so much and is only 16months! She has one proud, proud mommy and daddy! That is for sure!! She say 'sexy' all the time and daddy doesn't think that is very age appropriate! I can't agrue but still find it hard not to laugh!

For some reason our sweet little bunny always gets sick! We have most deff. had our fair share of it all! About a month ago we had one very, very sick little girl! Her temp. got up to 104.4 with alternating tylenol and ibuprofen every 4 hours! Dispite all of our efforts we couldn't get it down. She had to go to the dr 3 days in a row and a ton of tests ran! When I tell you, you really aren't going to believe what was wrong with our sweet girl! Come to find out she had gotten double pneumonia that turned into bronchitis that then caused a sinus infection and a double ear infection! Then to top it off she had a urinary tract infection that was seperate! It was so scary as a parent for you child to be so sick and not be able to fix what was causing it all, and when we found out it was so, soo scary because there were so many things wrong! They gave her a shot of rocephine in her leg. Which, made it swell twice the size of the other one! They say those shots are so painful for days and burn really bad! I don't know if it was because of this, or not walking for so long because all she did was lay there and stare at the carpet for a week, or the ear infections throwing off her balance but something was causing her to not be able to walk. This went on for about 5 days! She gradually got the hang of it again, but she once was running and she has just recently started running really good again!  It took about 2 weeks to get her better from that but just in time for her to catch the flu pretty bad! Poor baby, but it did give us lots of time for cuddles and snuggles!

I had an amazing Mother's Day! Daddy and Londyn went shopping together and they took me out for dinner. There was no cooking all weekend! That is a great treat! That day always gets me thinking! I am so thankful to get to be a mommy, but I am more thankful that I get the chance to be her mommy! Being a mother is a full time, hardworking job, but it is the upmost rewarding thing you can do as a person! I love it! I am so lucky to get to live this life! God has treated me so well and given me so many wonderful gifts!

Our little baby isn't much of a baby anymore! We had to come to terms with that now that she isn't in her 'baby bed' now she has a 'big girl bed'. She has done so great with the transition! I am so proud of her! Daddy second guessed it before we put her in it, because we though that she was going to want to get up and play. She doesn't though! She will lay right there and go to sleep! Her bed is a lot higher then I thought it was going to be, so I have to admit I second guessed it also. She has rolled out of it but at first I slept on the floor next to her so that if she did  she wouldn't be scared! Which she did roll out the first 2 days...right on her head but, she didn't get hurt or cry! She actually slept the first couple weeks until 11am or 12! Goodness! I think she must approve to!

In the summertime we spend so much time out side, at the river or lake, or playing in the water! There is so many pictures I want to share! But I will try to not go to crazy!
They love each other so much!
We let her go puddle jumping!

She loved it!
She LOVES 'shishies'
Had to get a hold of it!

Ah the many faces of a 1 year old! But she still always looks so beautiful!

She really likes the river a lot also! Anywhere she can play in the water!
Her and her Gibby are such great buddies!

Can't have a weenie roast without a smore! Yummy! (...she approved!)

We are beginning to be introduced to the good ol potty! What an adventure! I feel like I have it so easy with her though! She started pottying in it before her 1st birthday just before we put her in the bath! Great! But, now we are doing it a lot more often! She is doing so amazing with it! We couldn't be anymore proud! She will tinkle and as soon as she does she waves and says 'bye-bye potty! bye-bye potty'! So cute! We dump it in the big potty and tell her to say bye-bye. Over she is doing wonderful! She loves to run around the house in her 'big girl panties'! Maybe that will help in the whole process also!

I will make a post in the next few days about our trip to Joplin after the tornado to visit one of my best friends and her 2 little girls that lost everything! As I have a ton of pictures that just don't do it justice I will share!
