Easter and all!

Life is going so great like always! We took Londyn to Linden Lure before the creek came to us! I am so glad that we got out and enjoyed one of the last days! Being that it has rained for I dont even know how many in a row! I let a little lose and let her get all dirty and just be a kid! If you know me then you know that I really have had a hard time with that! Even as a child I never wanted to be dirty! She was playing with the rocks (of course showing each one to all of us!), digging, and digging, and more digging thought she was a puppy the way she was going at it,  climbing all over mommy, and she loved playing with my brother, Scott's puppy, Crystal! The were sharing all kinds of kisses! So cute! I think you could say she had a blast! Here's a few pictures for proof!
Her showing off a teeny-tiny rock!
Sharing like she loves to do!
Loving on Crystal, dirty face and all! The dirty they are the more fun they've had!

This time of every year a lot of people are remined of how great our Jesus Christ is! He is so amazing! I think he should be honored everyday but this time of year is just so sweet! It is so hard to believe that he loves us so much! More then we will ever know! I am going to be honest with myself, I all to often think that I take for granted all the great things in my life that he grants me with! I am so thankful that he died on the cross for all of us! What's more amazing is that he rose! He is here and he has our life planned out for us! He never makes mistakes! Our God is truly an Amazing God! Of course we went to church on Easter sunday and the service was great! Londyn looked so beautiful! She was very excited to see all of her goodies when she woke up! While eating breakfast she kept pointing out the doorway to the room they were in! She's so sweet! This is Easter morning and what that nice little bunny left!...but mommy and daddy may have gotten her a few things along the way to! ...maybe only a little spoiled.

One of my favorite things about Easter is that we get to spend time with family! This year was no exception! Even better we got to see some amazing people that we haven't gotten to see in years! We had such a great day even though it rained the whole time!
She looked so cute in her little dress! I had to take her out to the park and take a few pictures a few days before!

It has rained so much lately! I can hardly believe it! The road that runs right next to our house is flooded so badly along with several peoples yards! One house has a couple feet or more in their entire back yard! I have seen so many pictures of terrible damage! Prayers are needed!
Our back yard has a couple inches of water in it. Nothing like other peoples but there was a little...ok big turtle (or as Londyn would say 'turrr-tle!') sticking his poor little head up so high trying to stay dry. Londyn loves turtles right now and when I seen him out there I had to run out in the pouring rain to get him! She just loved him! We fed him strawberries as a treat for putting up with Londyn's loving touch! Right now he is in our back porch (made into a sunroom) staying nice and dry. Londyn will point out there and say 'turrr-tle' even though i dont think she can see him! She's so loving!

She said 'aww-uh-aww. Hug!'

 That poor little thing!

Again like I always say! There is nothing more rewarding then being a parent! Especially to her! There is nothing, better to life then a best friend! Especially him! I love my family so much and am so thankful for God allowing me to have so much! I hope everyone had and amazing Easter remembering what it's really all about!

Family time is always a fun!

Time flies so quickly and there is always something going on in our life wether it's sleep, work, or play! The last few days have been almost all fun! *I will update almost shortly!*

The other day while David was at work Londyn and I went over Josh and Stephanie's to pay a great visit with Steph and baby Tyler. We had such a great time sitting out on the deck just catching up and watching Londyn attempt to try out all of Tyler's things! It was a beautiful day in the shade and I even got a gorgeous red farmers tan. Of course, Londyn only brown! Oh, how I wish I tanned the way she does!

Once Dave got off work we decided to take Londyn and Tyson (our yellow lab) to the school down the street to play and they had so much fun! ...So did we! I think we spent well over 2 hours there!
Londyn just loved when we took her down the slides! It was so cute, we would go down and she would point back to the ladder and sign more! I'm really glad she likes the slides so much because she doesn't really know what to think about the swings other then she just simply doesn't like them. Maybe my sweet little girl is still just a little nervous because most of the time she didn't want to walk over the bridge to one of the slides but I managed to get a couple really cute pictures.

She is getting so good at walking all around now! Which means, things are becoming to come up missing because she runs off with them! Tyson is such a good dog and so well behaved! We let him off his leash so he could enjoy himself to after the other kids left, and Londyn decided to run away with it!

This morning I was changin Londyn's diaper and decided that I would go ahead and give her her shower then. So, silly me, (I don't know what I was thinking!) decided to run to the bathroom and get all of thing that I needed. I was gone literally 15, maybe 20, seconds. I was unpleasntly surprised when I returned that my sweet little angel of a girl had pooped all over my living room! Not only did she do it all over, she stepped in it and tracked it everywhere! I went to pick her up, and then she fell in it and grabbed her foot! So, at this point it was all over her feet, up her legs, all up her back, and all over her hand! Of course, I took her straight to her bath, but by the time I got there it was all in her hair and on her face! I think I just had my first test as a parent!! I do believe I passed! I cleaned it all up with a tear....almost though! I love being a mommy so much! That is my payment for all the joy, fulfilment, and reward I get in return!

Welcome!

My name is Christina and I have been in a relationship with an amazing man for close to 9 years! We welcomed our wonderful daughter Londyn in Feb of 2010! We are loving leaving our footprints in the sand through the journey of life! We live each day as a new one and can't wait to see what's in store for us next! I love my God, I love my spouse, I love my daughter, and I love my life!

This is my first attempt...of I'm sure many to blog! I haven't ever done anything like this before and I'm not so sure how well I'll do! I keep, ok I try to keep, a journal of our journey through life as a family. It always seems so much easier when it's on the computer then on paper so I figured a blog would be perfect!
